DAY 05 CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to “San Pedro’s” train station of Cusco to board the Backpacker train to Aguas Calientes. Arrival and transfer to the ruins on minivan. Guided visit of Machu Picchu. (SIC service, Spanish/English speaking local guide). After the visit return to Aguas Calientes for lunch at restaurant and then, continue to Cusco on Backpacker train. Arrival at Poroy train station and transfer to hotel. Arrival, meet our personnel for transfer to hotel. Overnight.

DAY 07 CUSCO / PUNO (3,827 m.a.s.l.)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to bus station and departure to Puno on public tour bus (SIC service, Spanish / English speaking guide – 396 km. - almost 8 hour trip). On the way, visit the town and chapel of Andahuaylillas, the ruins of Raqchi and Pukará’s Museum. Lunch at a restaurant in Sicuani. Arrive and meet our personnel for transfer and accommodation at hotel (private transport and expert personnel). Overnight.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to bus station and departure on public tour bus to Arequipa (350 km., almost 6-hour journey - SIC service without escort). Arrive and meet our personnel for transfer and accommodation at hotel (private transport and expert personnel). Overnight.

DAY 10 AREQUIPA / NASCA (588 m.a.s.l.)
