Introduction The Inca Trail is Peru's best known hike, combining a stunning mix of Inca ruins, mountain scenery, lush cloud-forest and rich subtropical jungle. Over 250 species of orchid have been counted in the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary, as well as numerous birds such as hummingbirds, waterfowl and the majestic Andean Condor. The star of the Sanctuary is the spectacled bear - a shy, herbivorous animal that is extremely rare and close to extinction.

DAY 1: CUSCO - PISKACUCHO - LLULLUCHAPAMPA
We will pick you up in your hotel at 5:00 a.m. immediately afterwards to go 82 km from the railroad to the surroundings of the place named Piskacucho (2700 m.s.n.m) place where we will begin our trek that will be in an average of 10 hours approximately our first point of camping located in Llulluchapampa (3800 m.a.s.l), initially the trek will be for the side of the sacred river named Willkamayu or Vilcanota and continue for a branch called Kusichaca river that should direct us to exploring important places as: Miskay, Llactapata, Inka Wasi, Willkaraqay and Huayllabamba community. From this place our trek will be more demanding but we will be rewarded with beautiful and panoramic landscape, whose initial tour will be across a forest of dense vegetation that will allow us to pass for places as: Tres piedras (3300m.s.n.m), Llulluchapampa (3800 m.s.n.m). On having finished our trek our porter will have the camp ready to be able to establish; we will have dinner and stay in camp.
DAY 2: LLULLUCHAPAMPA - PHUYUPATAMARCA- WIÑAYWAYNA
IIt’s considered the most attractive thing and the most difficult section of the trip, since we cross the highest point 4,200 m.a.s.l. /13,780 feets, on the level of sea. Named WARMIWAÑUSKA or Dead woman pass, where it waits for us the only day for the qualities of the trek; it will be something extensive as interesting, we will take an average of 12 hours of trek. After the breakfast we will restart the ascent with direction to the highest point of the Inca Trail, then we will initiate an intense and strong descend towards to Pacaymayo Valley (3600 m.a.s.l.) , then the second highest point is Runkuraqay of 3900 m.a.s.l.) From that point of which we will be able to observe the snow-capped mountain Veronica and the snow-capped mountain Pumasillo in their fullness; during the day we will explore important places and archaeological centers as: RUNKURAQAY, SAYACMARCA, QONCHAMARCA, CHAQUIQOCHA, PHUYUPATAMARCA, and INTIPATA.
This route offers us to join eyebrow of jungle with a variety and diversity flora and fauna with respect to the previous days when we observed different types of forest, besides important trip we pass through the famous Inca tunnel, after we get down Inca steps, which lead us to the famous archaeological complex WIÑAYHUAYNA (2700 m.a.s.l.) place of our last camp site.
DAY 3: WIÑAYWAYNA - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
This is the most expected day of our trip . We start very early in the morning where we will direct by ourselves for the same original route of the way Inca to the INTIPUNKU (door of the Sun) for viewing, the city of Machu Picchu in all his brilliance and majesty.
Then to come down Machupicchu and initiate our tour for about 2.5 hours our guide will lead us across this historical wonder giving us the necessary explanations on principal remains and monuments, such as the Principal Plaza, Temple of Three Windows, The Solar Clock, The Quarter of the Mortars, The Temple of the Condor, the cemeteries and enclosures, sacred sources, urban and agricultural sector and others.
Then we will have free time to continue admiring the place to take the necessary photography’s. Between the activities suggested for the day this one to raise the WAYNAPICCHU, to lower the village to Aguas Calientes and enjoy its thermal baths. In the evening our train will be returning with direction to Cusco.
Note:
* People who want to visit Huayna Picchu must let us know as soon as they can, because according to new rules, there is a limit of people (400) per day that can climb it.
