Leaving Cusco at 07:00 am, you will be driven by private transportation to Chinchero. while our crew is preparing the bicycles, your private guide will take you around the site of Chinchero, where the Incas worshipped the Rainbow God (Kuy'chi) and the Mountain Spirits (Apus) of Salkantay, WakayWilke, Sawasiray and Pitusiray. Around 9:30 am we will start a 3.5 hours bicycle journey through the backcountry and experiencing the lifestyle of the Andean people. Reaching the mystical site of Moray where Andean civilizations might have worshipped the Moon and the Stars, you will tour these unique circular terraces. We will have lunch at this magnificent site overlooking the famous Sacred Valley.

Around 15:00PM we will start our descent to the Sacred Valley exploring a pre-Inca salt mine still under production. The local producers will explain the whole process of salt production while you are walking through a complex of pools disposed in terraces. We will then reach the Sacred Valley and the town of Urubamba where will enjoy a cold drink in this exotic small village. We shall board our private transportation to travel back to Cusco to arrive at 18:30 PM.
